On Tuesday 4 May 2021, the Princess Grace Hospital was presented with a cheque for 2 million euros by generous philanthropists Mr. and Mrs. Garavagno.

In line with their wishes, the couple made this substantial donation in front of the donors' plaque, engraved with their names, and thanked the hospital.

"We have had contact with the CHPG for many years and have come to fully appreciate the organisation and efficiency of the various departments, and the extremely friendly staff. That is why we have decided to make this well-deserved donation," emphasised Angela and Jean Garavagno.

As Benoîte de Sevelinges, Director of the CHPG, explained, their donation will make it possible to purchase a neuronavigation system for use in ENT, a robot for transcranial magnetic stimulation in psychiatry and a haemodynamic monitoring system for cardiology. It will also fund projects in clinical research, palliative care and quality of life at work.
