The AMSN was represented at the FIRST's 31st Annual Meeting by Frédéric Fautrier, Deputy Director of the AMSN, and Bruno Valentin, Head of the Incident Response Team (CERT-MC).  This event took place in Edinburgh from 16 to 21 June and brought together 1,110 participants from 83 countries.

The representatives of the AMSN were thus able to take part in thirty or so presentations, training sessions and workshops, both technical and organisational.

At this event, a cyber security incident response challenge was held, based on a fictitious scenario of compromised IT and industrial systems.  The AMSN finished in 3rd place out of the 24 teams involved, confirming the high level of the AMSN's staff.

NatCSIRT, which is organised by the Software Engineering Institute of Carnegie Mellon University, brings together cyber security incident response teams with national responsibility.  The 2019 event, which took place on 21 and 22 June, attracted 125 people from 43 countries.

NatCSIRT is an opportunity to exchange views, particularly on developments in national organisations and regulations in response to the evolving cyber threat, in a sensitive international context.  The USA, Israel, France, the Netherlands, Japan, Switzerland, Taiwan and the United States have adapted their organisations in order to consolidate their ability to detect and respond to cyber security incidents, and they all advocate more cooperation and interaction between teams.
