Strengthened measures during Top Marques show, where there is potential for inappropriate behaviour and dangerous driving by drivers of cars with large engines on the public roads

The Prince’s Government would like to draw attention to the fact that some particularly entertaining events can attract large numbers of vehicles that are likely to cause a significant disruption of public order.

These often unplanned gatherings of sports cars lead to proven road traffic offences being committed, and to inappropriate and dangerous behaviour.

The Prince’s Government is determined to curb these phenomena as far as possible, and to take more effective action against those responsible for occasional disruption, in order to ensure peace and public safety for residents of the Principality.

As such, in line with the measures taken in 2019, the period of immobilisation for offending vehicles will be increased during the following event:

* Top Marques Show 2022 – from 8 to 12 June 2022

In the event of a violation of the Highway Code, immediate immobilisation of the vehicle will be extended to 120 hours.
