Press Release Café de Paris – Intrusion of a Vehicle
On Saturday 12 March 2016, at around 11 p.m., a Renault Scenic vehicle entered the Café de Paris. It quickly came to a halt by the first gaming machines in the establishment, which belongs to the Société des Bains de Mers.
Luckily, no-one was injured in this incident, and no damage was caused.
The female driver, who was visibly under the influence of alcohol and aged about fifty, appears, according to first reports, to have carried out this irrational act out of spite, having been banned from gaming by the Société des Bains de Mers.
The driver was detained for questioning by the Police Department and was taken into custody.
