During the Assises de la Sécurité cyber security event in Monaco, a partnership between the Monaco Cyber Security Agency, Monaco Digital – a Monegasque company which specialises in supporting businesses through the digital transformation process – and cyber security software publisher Egerie was presented to the press.

With the launch of the Extended Monaco project this year, the Principality has embarked on a path to develop digital technology. The aim is to become one of the top “smart and safe” countries in the world. Conscious of the fact that digital security is critical both for the state and for businesses, the Prince’s Government was keen to find a risk analysis solution that was recognised for its quality and certified by the Monaco Cyber Security Agency.

“We chose Egerie, now working in partnership with Monaco Digital, which allows us to offer the same coverage and the same collaborative tool to all organisations in Monaco,” explains Dominique Riban, Director of the Monaco Cyber Security Agency, adding “the more organisations that we have using a strong cyber risk analysis and management methodology, the better information systems will be protected. The fact that the analysis data remains on Monegasque soil provides a guarantee of sovereignty.”
