Firefighting exercise was held on a boat in the Quai Jules Soccal sector of the Port of Monaco.

During late morning on Tuesday 14 January 2020, a firefighting exercise was held on a boat in the Quai Jules Soccal sector of the Port of Monaco.

The exercise involved all of the Principality’s response and emergency service units that are mobilised in these types of circumstances. The scenario was based on a simulation of a fire on a small boat with one person trapped in the cabin.

- 2 boats, including 1 carrying diving personnel, from the Marine and Airport Police Division

- 1 liaison officer and 1 boat from the Department of Maritime Affairs

- 4 inflatable dinghies and 10 people from the SEPM and YCM
