COVID-19: one new positive case and six recoveries on Thursday 1 October

One new positive case of COVID-19 was recorded this Thursday.

This brings the Principality’s total coronavirus cases to 219.

The overall health figures for the Principality therefore amount to 99 people affected by the Coronavirus. 

This evening, six patients (including five residents) are being treated at Princess Grace Hospital. They are all on a standard ward, there are no longer any patients in intensive care.

Six additional recoveries have been reported, bringing the total number of people who have so far recovered to 187.

This Thursday evening, 28 people are being monitored by the Home Patient Follow-Up Centre, which offers medical support to people with mild symptoms who are asked to self-isolate at home.

In accordance with the practices adopted by the World Health Organization and neighbouring countries in this area, this daily update reports coronavirus cases among residents only.
