Renewal of the Framework Cooperation Agreement between UNESCO and the Prince's Government
On Wednesday14 March 2018, the Director of the Bureau of Strategic Planning of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), Mr. Jean-Yves Le Saux and H.E. Ms. Yvette Lambin Berti, Ambassador, Permanent Delegate of Monaco to UNESCO, signed an amendment at UNESCO's Headquarters in Paris to renew the Framework Cooperation Agreement for the 2018-2021 four-year programming period.
With this signature, the Prince's Government reaffirms its wish to continue its participation in this Specialised International Institution and its commitment to defend UNESCO's mandate in order to help achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
At this event, H.E. Ms. Lambin Berti reiterated the Principality's commitment to UNESCO's values. On behalf of the Director-General, Ms. Audrey Azoulay, Mr. Le Saux thanked Monaco for its continued support in making the Organization's voice heard.
