Reception in Brussels in honour of the anniversary of H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince’s accession
On 10 July, H.E. Mrs Sophie Thevenoux, Ambassador of the Principality of Monaco to the Kingdom of Belgium and Head of Monaco’s Mission to the European Union, and Mr Marc Thevenoux celebrated the anniversary of the accession of H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince by hosting a reception in the gardens of their Residence. Two hundred guests attended, including representatives from Belgian institutions, numerous ambassadors, the Apostolic Nuncio, European Union and NATO officials, and members of the Monegasque consular corps.
The guests were all keen to express their best wishes for the health and happiness of H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince and his family.
During the morning, the annual consular meeting was chaired by H.E. Ms Thevenoux. A number of topics of shared interest were addressed and the meeting provided an overview of current Monegasque news and the activities of the country’s consuls in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. It also featured a presentation of the Welcome Office, delivered by the Office’s Director, Ms Laurence Garino. Following the meeting, the consuls all signed up and made a personal commitment to the National Energy Transition Pact.
