On 10 February 2016, in Vienna, H.E. Ms. Isabelle Berro-Amadeï, Permanent Representative of the Principality of Monaco to the Comprehensive Nuclear Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) presented her Letters of Credence to the Executive Secretary of that Organisation, Mr. Lassina Zerbo.

At a private meeting, the Executive Secretary emphasised the need to promote all aspects of the role of the Organization. He therefore hoped that States would become more involved in developing the Organization's programmes, especially its detection and data collection activities undertaken with the aim of carrying out verifications, as well as activities for civil purposes (seismic and hydroacoustic data).

The Executive Secretary thanked the Principality warmly for its support, and especially for its contributions to the CTBTO's civil and scientific activities. As the Ambassador pointed out, the Principality has been financing training and capacity-building activities since 2011 for nationals from States of the African continent.
