Hungary’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Mr. Péter Szijjártó, on a working visit to the Principality
On Tuesday 4 June, a Hungarian delegation led by His Excellency M. Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, was welcomed to the Principality for a working visit.
H.E. Mr. Péter Szijjártó had an audience with H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince at the Prince’s Palace, after inaugurating the premises of the new Consulate of Hungary, in the presence of Mr. José Luis Delso Martinez-Trevijano, Honorary Consul of Hungary in Monaco.
Afterwards, the Hungarian Minister took part in a working meeting at the Ministry of State with Ms Isabelle Berro-Amadeï, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation to review bilateral relations between the two countries since diplomatic ties were established in 2016. This meeting provided a forum in which to discuss opportunities for economic development between the two countries.
Following this meeting, H.E. Péter Szijjártó attended a “Business Destination: Hungary” conference hosted by the Monaco Economic Board, during which Monegasque economic stakeholders were able to dialogue directly with the Hungarian Minister in the presence of Ms Isabelle Berro-Amadeï and Mr Pierre-André Chiappori, Minister of Finance and Economy.
