Today, H.E. the Minister of State opened the Diplomatic Conference that is taking place in Monaco over two and a half days.
The aim of this annual meeting, at which Government Ministers spoke on a variety of themes related to their respective Ministries (Social Affairs, the Environment, Taxation and Digital Security), is to bring together the whole of Monaco's Diplomatic Corps stationed overseas and discuss common objectives.
Mr. Tonelli, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, gave an update on negotiations with the European Union. After several presentations, the Ambassadors gathered for a brainstorming session on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). An item on the refugee situation was also on the agenda.
The Conference, which is organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, will end on Friday morning with a discussion on general issues, including Government communication.
