Diplomacy: accreditation of new ambassadors from Jordan – Argentina – Benin – Nepal

On Thursday 29 April, at a lunch held at the Hotel Hermitage, Isabelle Rosabrunetto, the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, received H.E. Mr Makram Mustafa A. Queisi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan; H.E. Mr Leonardo Costantino, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Argentine Republic; H.E. Mr Eusèbe Agbangla, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Benin, and H.E. Mr Dipak Adhikari, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Nepal.

The diplomats presented their credentials to H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince during the morning.

H.E. Mr Makram Mustafa A. Queisi, who holds a Master’s degree in Diplomatic Studies from the University of Westminster (UK) and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, began his career with a series of posts at the Royal Palace in Amman. He joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and from 2005 was appointed Ambassador to several central European countries before serving as his country’s representative to UNESCO, Portugal, the Holy See and France.

After studying Political Sciences and International Relations, H.E. Mr Leonardo Costantino joined the National Foreign Service Institute, which led him to a diplomatic career. He spent several years working for the Ministry of Economy and Production and at the Argentine Embassy in Uruguay. He served as Chief of Staff for the Undersecretary of Commercial and Investment Promotion. He was posted to France as head of the Argentine Embassy’s Economic Section and became Ambassador in June 2020.

H.E. Mr Eusèbe Agbangla studied International Relations at an advanced level in Benin, Cameroon, France and the United States. A career diplomat and politician, he served in various roles in a number of different ministerial offices and rose through the ranks of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In 2015, he became Benin’s Ambassador to Denmark, with responsibility for Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. He has been Ambassador to the French Republic since July 2020.

H.E. Mr Dipak Adhikari, who holds a degree in Law and Political Sciences, joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1987. He served in Calcutta, Washington, D.C., New Delhi and Abu Dhabi before becoming Nepal’s Ambassador to France in 2019. He is also accredited to Andorra and Portugal, and is his country’s Permanent Representative to UNESCO.
