The Government of Monaco launches "Monaco for Employment"

On 15 September, the Government will be inviting professionals from the Monegasque economy and job seekers to meet for a one-day event.

On Tuesday, 27 June, Minister of State Pierre Dartout, accompanied by Christophe Robino, Minister of Health and Social Affairs, Jean Castellini, Minister of Finance and the Economy, and Frédéric Genta, Interministerial Delegate for Attractiveness and Digital Transition, announced the creation of the "Monaco for employment" forum.

While Monaco has passed the 60,000 mark in private sector employment, some professional sectors are experiencing recruitment difficulties in a post-COVID society that's seeing changes in our approach to work.

For this reason, the government is organising an employment day on 15 September 2023 to “connect the supply and demand of jobs in the principality".

In response to the expectations expressed by employers, the Government has also made provisions for:

- two annual panel discussions to create an opportunity for dialogue between the Government and employer representatives

- an e-mail address(monacoemploi@gouv.mc) for unsolicited applications from jobseekers

- a multilingual communication campaign (French, English and Italian), using digital and print posters, to publicise the September event and the Principality's strategy

- an employment portal that will be fully operational by 2024, combining job offers, registration procedures and applications in just a few clicks.

Employment is a priority for the Government, whose aim is to continue supporting the Monegasque economic and social development, the Principality's leading element of attractiveness.
