Launch of Youth Employment Unit website
The Prince’s Government is stepping up its initiatives aimed at guaranteeing Monaco’s attractiveness and boosting sustainable employment for young people by simplifying the associated administrative procedures as part of the Principality’s digital transformation programme, Extended Monaco.
With support from the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs and the Digital Transition Office, the Youth Employment Unit, which is part of the Employment Office, is launching a website, https://cellule-emploi-jeunes.gouv.mc/ , entirely dedicated to helping young people enter the workforce in the Principality.
This new website reflects the Government’s desire to make available to Monegasque nationals and residents a practical, easy-to-access tool which brings together all of the information and solutions offered by the Youth Employment Unit, enabling them to discover and familiarise themselves with the various employment sectors, professions and training options that might align with their career plans.
The website also offers a lot of information and practical advice for employers in the Principality about the range of support measures and assistance available to help them recruit young people. Each registered company has its own virtual space, increasing its visibility and enabling it to promote its activities and values, and share information about the kinds of people it is looking for to become apprentices or interns.
Christophe Robino, the Minister of Health and Social Affairs, emphasised that “with this new digital tool, the Prince’s Government hopes to step up its initiatives aimed at boosting youth employment in the Principality. It will give young people a better overview of Monegasque companies and employment opportunities, while also enabling companies to recruit the most suitable candidates.”
Frédéric Genta, the Country Chief Officer for Attractiveness and the Digital Transition, added: “This new portal for our talented young people once again reflects the Government’s desire to refocus on the service it offers to users, providing them with quick and easy digital access to all the information about the world of employment. This generation represents the future of the Principality. By offering them a first-class service, our Government is making a major contribution to the country’s attractiveness.”
