On Monday 21 October, Véronique Herrera-Campana joined the Department of Cultural Affairs, taking up the post of Deputy Director after six years as a project leader in the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs.

Ms Herrera-Campana entered government service in 1999, joining the Marine Department. She then moved to the Department of Education, Youth and Sport in 2001, where she worked until 2006, when she was appointed Secretary of the Economic and Social Council.

Working alongside Director of Cultural Affairs Françoise Gamerdinger, Ms Herrera-Campana will help to implement the Prince’s Government’s cultural policy and develop new projects that will further promote artistic creativity.

Commenting on taking up her new position, she said: “It’s an honour to be joining the skilled, dynamic team at the Department of Cultural Affairs, and it is with a sense of enthusiasm and composure that I am embarking on this new adventure.”
