Traffic will still be able to access Place de la Visitation, except during the parade’s ascent to the Rocher and the descent of the animals to Avenue de la Porte Neuve.

Between 2.30 p.m. and 4.15 p.m., to enable the parade to pass and the animals to return to the big top, traffic will be temporarily halted along the following roads: Avenue de Fontvieille, Tunnel Charles III, Place d’Armes (Rocher side), Avenue de la Porte Neuve, Avenue Saint Martin and Rue Bellando de Castro.

Diversions will be put in place.

One traffic lane will be kept open on Avenue des Papalins, travelling from Quai Jean-Charles Rey to Avenue des Papalins.

Impact on public transport

Between 2 p.m. and 4.15 p.m., services 1 and 2 will not make the ascent to Monaco-Ville; they will head for the ground level of the Parking des Pêcheurs car park, via Place d'Armes and Avenue du Port.

Between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m., city bus services 3, 4 and 6, intercity services 100 and 110, and Monaco Le Grand Tour buses will be diverted depending on the route taken by the procession.

Impact on public car parks

While the parade passes, entry to and exit from the following car parks will be temporarily suspended: Saint-Nicolas, Louis II Stadium, le Triton, des Villas, de la Colle, de la Visitation and de l'Abbaye.

Information will be provided to users (notices will be posted at car park access points) by the Public Car Parks Office.

Please note also that due to these events, there will be no Changing of the Guard at Place du Palais on Friday 15 or Saturday 16 January.
