Announcement of the Winners
The Prince Pierre of Monaco Foundation will announce its 2016 winners on Tuesday 4 October 2016.
The following will be awarded:
- The Literary Prize
- The Discovery Grant
- The High School Students’ Favourite Choice
- The Young Music Fans' Favourite Choice
- The International Contemporary Art Prize (PIAC)
- The Prize for a Critical Essay on Contemporary Art
At the ceremony, the public will be able to hear extracts from the winning literary works, read by Jean-Loup Dabadie, Dany Laferrière and Frédéric Vitoux, as well as an extract from the winning work in the Young Music Fans' Favourite Choice category.
As a reminder, in 2016, the Prince Pierre Foundation will be celebrating contemporary art in particular. This year, the winning work " Subconscious Society, a Feature, 2014" by the artist Rosa Barba, will be presented in São Paolo at an event organised on the sidelines of the Contemporary Art Biennale.
A new work by Rosa Barba, commissioned by the Prince Pierre Foundation, will also be on show as part of the official selection of the Biennale (from 10 September to 11 December 2016).

On Tuesday 4 October 2016, at 8 p.m., in the Salle Garnier.
