"Organ Night" for the "Fête de la musique" Music Festival

The 13th Monaco International Organ Festival, organised by the Department of Cultural Affairs Department, will begin on 21 June.

An open evening, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. in the Cathedral, will pay tribute to the great organ with a unique promenade concert, which will feature famous works, transcriptions, works for four hands, and more.

The organists of the Principality and senior students from the Rainier III Academy, Monaco and the Conservatory of Nice will take it in turns at the keyboard of this imposing 20-ton instrument, with its 4 keyboards, 79 stops and almost 7,000 pipes.

In addition to the evening of 21 June, the 13th Festival will feature 8 concerts on Sundays at 5 p.m., on 1, 8, 15 and 22 July and 5, 12 and 19 August.
