End of the 2017/2018 Season at the Princess Grace Theatre
Yesterday evening, the Princess Grace Theatre's 2017/2018 season came to a close with "Les fous ne sont plus ce qu'ils étaient" ("Fools Aren't What They Were"), a show created and performed by Elliot Jenicot of the Comédie-Française, based on texts by Raymond Devos.
This season, which offered a wide panorama of contemporary theatrical creativity, has been a great success. A wide audience was able to applaud renowned actors, discover "revisited" classics and more contemporary texts, while having a regular opportunity to talk to the artists at "stage side" meetings.
Among the highlights were the two eagerly awaited performances of Alexis Michalik's "Edmond" - a play that won five awards at the 2017 Molières - as well as the residency of Thomas Le Douarec's troupe in early May, at the end of which a preview performance of his new work, Dostoevsky's "L'Idiot " ("The Idiot"), was given.
The 2018-2019 season will be presented on June 20.
