Resumption of private construction work at entrance to Monaco on Boulevard du Jardin Exotique

The private part of the construction project at the entrance to Monaco via Boulevard du Jardin Exotique will resume on Monday 20 April. This will include, first, work on the private building (Block A), which will take place between 7.30 am and 7.30 pm and, second, installation of the precast elements for the Propylée building, comprising a series of columns and a covering.

In light of the current curfew, this second aspect of the work, originally scheduled to take place at night, will now be carried out during the day between 7.30 am and 10 pm. These extended hours will reduce the length of time the work will take.

For safety reasons, Boulevard du Jardin Exotique will be closed and changes will be made to traffic flow in the area between 7.30 am and 10 pm, Monday to Friday:

-             Vehicles entering the country will be diverted towards the Albert II Tunnel, or alternatively will be able to access Monaco via the Moyenne Corniche road and Avenue Hector Otto.

-             Vehicles leaving the country will be able to reach the Moyenne Corniche road via Avenue Hector Otto.

This work is being resumed in accordance with strict health precautions. The overriding priority is to protect the health of everyone involved in the project. As with other construction sites that continue to operate, the State will carry out regular checks to monitor compliance with these precautions.
