Covid-19 : One New Positive Case and Three Recoveries on Monday 11 October

One new positive case of COVID-19 was identified on Monday 11th October.

This therefore brings the overall health figures for the Principality to 3,336 people affected by the Coronavirus since the beginning of the health crisis.

This evening, eight patients are being treated at the CHPG:  six people, two of whom are residents, are hospitalised; two patients, one of whom is a resident, are in intensive care. 

There are three recoveries to be noted this evening so, total number of people who have recovered is 3,277.

This evening, ten people are being monitored by the Home Patient Follow-up Centre, which provides medical support to patients with mild symptoms, who are invited to self isolate at home.

In line with the practices adopted by the World Health Organization and neighbouring countries in this regard, these daily health assessment figures report only on resident persons affected by the Coronavirus.

The Prince's Government is also communicating the figures relating to testing.  These figures are as of yesterday, Sunday 10 October inclusive.

  • Number of tests carried out on resident and non-resident patients between 4/10 and 10/10 inclusive:  3,065 PCR and antigen tests.
  • Rate of positive tests carried out on residents and non-residents:  0.75%.
  • Incidence rate, i.e. the number of persons testing positive per 100,000 inhabitants over the past seven days:  51.15 (31.29 last week).
