COVID-19: two new positive cases and one recovery on Friday 2 October

Two new positive cases of COVID-19 were recorded on Friday.

This brings the Principality’s total coronavirus cases to 221.

This evening, six patients (including four residents) are being treated at Princess Grace Hospital. There are no longer any patients in intensive care.

One further recovery has been reported, bringing the total number of people who have so far recovered to 188.

This Friday evening, 29 people are being monitored by the Home Patient Follow-Up Centre, which offers medical support to those with minor symptoms who are asked to self-isolate at home.

In accordance with the practices adopted by the World Health Organization and neighbouring countries in this area, this daily update reports coronavirus cases among residents only.
