CORONAVIRUS - No new positive cases and one additional recovery recorded in Monaco on Saturday

No new positive cases of COVID-19 were recorded on Saturday 25 April.

This means that the number of people infected by the coronavirus in the Principality remains 94. One additional recovery was reported compared with yesterday, bringing the total number of patients who have so far recovered to 42.

Two people are in hospital, one of whom is in intensive care.

It should be noted that those tested and hospitalised are not all residents of the Principality.

In keeping with the principle that has been adopted by the Monegasque health authorities, only patients with severe COVID-19 symptoms are being hospitalised.

Those with minor symptoms are asked to self-isolate at home and will be subject to medical monitoring. As of today, 42 patients are being treated by the Home Patient Follow-Up Centre.
