Monegasque Professional Certification graduation ceremony
On Tuesday 13 September 2022, H.E. the Minister of State, Pierre DARTOUT, accompanied by Mr Christophe ROBINO, Minister of Health and Social Affairs, Ms Brigitte BOCCONE-PAGES, Vice-President of the National Council, Mr Etienne FRANZI, President of the Association Monégasque des Activités Financières (AMAF, Monaco Association for Financial Activities), and numerous other personalities, held a reception at his official residence for the successful candidates who obtained Monegasque Professional Certification in 2021 and 2022.
Introduced by the AMAF in 2014, Professional Certification is a mandatory qualification for all customer- and market-facing employees (managers, sellers, financial analysts, and traders), designed to strengthen the skills of staff at banking and financial institutions. Since the qualification was created, no fewer than 825 professionals from Monaco’s financial centre have been awarded certification, with an annual pass rate of over 82%.
In his speech, the Minister of State congratulated the AMAF on its work to regulate, organise, and promote the Principality’s banking and financial centre, notably through measures to combat money laundering, terrorist financing, and corruption, and on its driving role in the quest for excellence and professionalism in the sector.
