AS Monaco joins the Principality of Monaco's "Extended Monaco" digital transformation programme
AS Monaco and the Interministerial Delegation for Digital Transition are pleased to announce their collaboration through the "Extended Monaco" programme.
Launched in April 2019 by H.S.H. Prince Albert II, the "Extended Monaco" programme, led by the Monaco Government's Interministerial Delegation for Digital Transition (DITN), has become essential to the digital transformation of the Monegasque territory. Innovation and digital technology have made great strides across the country in the last four years, and today the entire population and workforce benefit from a digital environment that is strong, secure, inclusive, and eco-friendly.
Through this partnership, AS Monaco and the DITN wish to encourage club supporters to use new digital tools, to promote innovation in the Principality, and to contribute to the reputation and popularity of Monaco by making the Principality a European leader in the digital sector through combining their expertise and reputation.
Furthermore, AS Monaco's ticketing service will soon be integrated into the Monapass ticketing app, giving Monaco fans the option to choose a 100% digital season ticket for the 2023-24 season.
The Red and Whites and the DITN will also be launching the "Attractivity Challenges", a competition open for start-ups developing apps for sport or connected stadiums.
In addition, content relating to AS Monaco events will be featured on the "Your Monaco" app, a mobile app that provides practical information about the region (transport, construction sites, school menus, events calendar, weather, local press review, etc.).
Finally, the DITN will provide AS Monaco with its network of touchscreen displays at passenger shelters to promote their home games and other club events.
According to Ben Lambrecht, Managing Director of AS Monaco: "We are delighted to be associated with the 'Extended Monaco' programme. The Principality of Monaco is at the forefront of the digital age and, like AS Monaco, has major ambitions in this area. So, it was only natural for us to join forces with the Interministerial Department for Digital Transition to promote innovation in the Principality and offer our supporters new tools to enhance their passion for the Club.”
Frédéric Genta, Chief Officer for Attractiveness and the Digital Transition states: "We are delighted to be launching this partnership with AS Monaco, a club with a rich history and achievements, which has helped and continues to help the Principality shine beyond our borders. This is the first step in a long and productive collaboration centred around key topics that unite us, such as the user experience, technological innovation and the appeal of our region."
