Covid-19: 52 new positive cases and 34 cured on Monday 28 March
Fifty-two new positive cases of Covid-19 were revealed on Monday 28th March.
This brings the total number of people affected by the coronavirus in the Principality to 10,582 since the beginning of the health crisis.
This evening, 27 people are being treated at the CHPG: 26 people, including 9 residents, are hospitalised. One patient, a non-resident, is being treated in intensive care.
There are 34 additional recoveries. The total number of healed people is 10,262.
As of Monday evening, 167 people are being monitored by the Home Monitoring Centre, which provides medical support to patients with few symptoms who are advised to stay at home.
In order to comply with the practices adopted by the World Health Organisation and neighbouring countries in this matter, this daily report only mentions resident persons affected by the coronavirus.
The Government of Monaco also communicates the figures relating to screening. These figures are up to and including Sunday 27 March.
- Number of tests performed on resident and non-resident patients between 21/03 and 27/03 inclusive: 3,500 PCR and antigenic tests.
- Positivity rate of tests performed on residents and non-residents: 20.29%.
- Incidence rate, i.e. the number of positive persons based on 100,000 persons over the past 7 days: 1,050 (910 last week).
