Covid-19 : One New Positive Case and Three Recoveries on Monday 20 September

One new positive case of COVID-19 was identified on Monday 20 September.

This therefore brings the overall health figures for the Principality to 3,291people affected by the Coronavirus since the beginning of the health crisis.

This evening, seven people are being treated at Princess Grace Hospital:  six people, five of whom are residents, are provided in-patient care; one person, who is a resident, is in intensive care.

There are three further recoveries to be noted. The total number of people who have recovered is 3,228.

This Monday evening, ten people are being monitored by the Home Patient Follow-up Centre, which provides medical support to patients with mild symptoms, who are invited to self-isolate at home.

In line with the practices adopted by the World Health Organization and neighbouring countries in this regard, these daily health assessment figures report only on resident persons affected by the Coronavirus.

The Prince's Government is also communicating the figures relating to testing. These figures are as of Sunday 5 September inclusive.

  • Number of tests carried out on resident and non-resident patients between 13/09 and 19/09 inclusive:  3,964 PCR and antigen tests.
  • Rate of positive tests carried out on residents and non-residents:  0.86 %.
  • Incidence rate, i.e. the number of persons testing positive per 100,000 inhabitants over the past seven days:  36.51 (109.52 last week).
