No new positive cases on Sunday

No positive cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the Principality on Sunday 16 August.

This means that the total number of number of coronavirus cases for the Principality remains 146.

As of this evening, two patients continue to be hospitalised at Princess Grace Hospital.

No new recoveries have been reported, so the total number of people who have recovered still stands at 114.

This evening, 13 people are being monitored by the Home Patient Follow-Up Centre, which offers medical support to those with minor symptoms who are asked to self-isolate at home.

It should be noted that those tested and hospitalised are not all residents of the Principality.
