No New Positive Cases and One Discharge from Hospital

No new positive cases of COVID-19 were identified in the Principality on Tuesday 18 August.

The overall health figures for the Principality therefore remain at 148 people affected by the Coronavirus. 

One of the people hospitalised at the CHPG has been discharged.  This evening, a total of three people are still being treated at the hospital.

No further recoveries have been noted.  The total number of people who have recovered still stands at 114 patients.

This evening, thirteen people are being monitored by the Home Patient Follow-up Centre, which provides medical support to people with mild symptoms, who are invited to self isolate at home.

It should be noted that not all the people tested are resident in the Principality.
