COVID-19: three new positive cases and eight recoveries on Monday 14 December

Three new positive cases of COVID-19 were recorded on Monday.

This brings the Principality’s total coronavirus cases since the beginning of the health crisis to 671.

This evening, nine patients are being treated at Princess Grace Hospital, two of whom, including one resident, are in intensive care. Three of the other seven patients in hospital are also residents.

Eight recoveries have been reported today, bringing the total number of people who have so far recovered to 605.

This Monday evening, 24 people are being monitored by the Home Patient Follow-Up Centre, which offers medical support to those with minor symptoms who are asked to self-isolate at home.

In accordance with the practices adopted by the World Health Organization and neighbouring countries in this area, this daily update reports coronavirus cases among residents only.
