COVID-19: Twenty five New Positive Cases and Fifteen Recoveries on Saturday 16 January

Twenty five new positive cases of COVID-19 were identified on Saturday 16 January.

This therefore brings the overall health figures for the Principality to 1,194 people affected by the Coronavirus since the beginning of the health crisis.

This evening, thirty four people are being treated at the CHPG:  twenty seven patients, seventeen of whom are residents, are hospitalised.  Moreover, this evening, seven people, four of whom are residents, are in intensive care.

Today, there are 15 further recoveries to be noted. The total number of people who have recovered thus amounts to 977.

This Saturday evening, 128 people are being monitored by the Home Patient Follow-up Centre, which provides medical support to people with mild symptoms, who are invited to self-isolate at home.

In line with the practices adopted by the World Health Organization and neighbouring countries in this regard, these daily health assessment figures report only on resident persons affected by the Coronavirus.
