Committee for Coordination and Monitoring of the National Strategy on fight against Money Laundering
Members of the first College of the Committee for Coordination and Monitoring of the National Strategy on fight against Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing, Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction and Corruption held a meeting on Monday 7 April, chaired by Mr Pierre-André Chiappori, Minister of Finance and Economy.
Following the submission to the FATF several weeks ago of Monaco’s first progress report since it was included on the grey list, the authorities involved were thanked for the many advances made in various areas since April 2024.
Mr Pierre-André Chiappori also recalled the importance of maintaining collective efforts made so far in view of upcoming deadlines and in particular of discussions to take place this month between the Monegasque delegations and representatives from the International Cooperation Review Group (ICGG).
The National Strategy on fight against Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing, Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction and Corruption, and its 2025-2027 action plan, were unanimously adopted by the members.
