The day closed with the signature of an agreement between the two organisations, in the presence of H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince, accompanied by the Minister of Health and Social Affairs and the Minister of the Interior.

To mark ten years of joint work between the Monaco Scientific Centre and Princess Grace Hospital, the Principality’s first day devoted to clinical research was held at the hospital today. Being at the heart of clinical research means being able to offer patients not only the latest cutting-edge treatments, but also the chance to get involved in the research themselves by agreeing to take part in trials.

“Today marks 10 years of fruitful partnership between our two organisations in the field of clinical research. It is an opportunity to remember that, beyond its own core role, the hospital also has a basic mission to advance medicine through research. At Princess Grace Hospital, the objective is to further research and ensure that our patients benefit from the progress made, while also contributing to the reputation of the Principality of Monaco,” said Hospital Director Benoîte de Sevelinges. A total of 200 projects have been successfully completed over the 10 years, involving 5,000 patients.
