Monaco takes part in 6th Replenishment Conference for Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria
H.E. Mr Christophe Steiner, Monaco’s Ambassador to France, took part in the 6th Replenishment Conference for the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, which was held in Lyon on 9 and 10 October under the patronage of President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron.
The Prince’s Government responded to France’s appeal by announcing a financial contribution for 2020–2022.
The Global Fund reflects the goals of the Principality of Monaco’s international cooperation policy, which seeks to support concrete projects that place the most vulnerable people at the heart of their actions, and to establish sustainable health systems in recipient countries in order to build a stable future, particularly in African nations.
