Pauline Ducruet is guest of Monaco’s Embassy in Washington, D.C. for Smithsonian Folklife Festival
As part of a tribute to Prince Rainier III for his involvement in the circus arts and for the contributions that the Grimaldi family continues to make to the circus, Pauline Ducruet, President of the New Generation Circus Young Artists Festival, was a guest of the Embassy of Monaco in Washington, D.C. and the Smithsonian Folklife Festival. Ms Ducruet chaired the festival’s closing session, which was devoted to the new generation of the circus.
On the previous day, a reception was held at the Ambassador’s residence to mark Ms Ducruet’s visit and to celebrate the festival’s fiftieth anniversary. The Smithsonian Folklife Festival is organised by the Smithsonian Institution, which promotes cultural exchanges between countries, artists and the public.
