Signature of Rainier III tunnel safety agreement

On Wednesday 30 November, at the Ministry of State, H.E. Pierre Dartout, Minister of State of the Principality of Monaco, and H.E. Laurent Stefanini, the French Ambassador to Monaco, signed the Franco-Monegasque bilateral agreement on making the Rainier III tunnel safe. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Isabelle Berro-Amadei, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Céline Caron-Dagioni, Minister of Public Works, the Environment and Urban Development, and Mr Bernard Gonzalez, Prefect of the Alpes-Maritimes.

H.E. the Minister of State welcomed the successful completion of the joint work by French and Monegasque government departments to ensure that the tunnel is brought into compliance with standards, in the public interest and in keeping with the productive discussions between the two countries on the underpass project.
