Monaco Beking 2024: traffic changes
The Principality will host the fourth annual Beking cycling race on Sunday 24 November at Port Hercule. It is a festive event that brings together professional racers based in Monaco, amateurs and families to promote cycling and support charitable associations (See https://bekingevents.com/ for detailed information). The following traffic and parking arrangements will be in place to accommodate the event:
VEHICLES
On 24 November, from 4 am to 6.30 pm, vehicles will not be able to access:
- Quai des États-Unis (from the restricted access zone on the quay to the intersection with Route de la Piscine)
- Avenue J.F. Kennedy (from the Place Saint Dévote roundabout to the intersection with Route de la Piscine)
- Route de la Piscine
- South dock
Note: these closures do not apply to motorists travelling to the Jules Soccal jetty, for whom two-way traffic will be maintained with guided traffic measures at times scheduled by event organisers according to the races on Quai des États-Unis and Route de la Piscine, between the jetty and Avenue J.F. Kennedy.
Traffic will be allowed on the Boulevard Albert I service road.
One-way traffic will be possible between Quai Antoine I (after the Rocher Noghès Tunnel) and Esplanade des Pêcheurs. When leaving the Quai Antoine I car park, motorists will have to turn right onto Esplanade des Pêcheurs, as will those exiting the Rocher Antoine I Tunnel.
VEHICLE PARKING
From 22 November at 6 am until 25 November at 6 am, parking will be prohibited on:
- Quai des États-Unis (from the restricted access zone on the quay to the intersection with Route de la Piscine)
- Route de la Piscine
- Louis Chiron corner
- the first section of the Jules Soccal jetty
- the South Dock
- Quai Antoine I (from the Quai car park to the Rocher Noghès Tunnel)
From 23 November at 11 pm to 24 November at 6.30 pm, parking will be prohibited on Boulevard Albert I.
BUS SERVICE
Line 1 of the Monaco Bus Company (CAM) (Monaco Ville <> Saint-Roman) will be diverted to Avenue d’Ostende and passengers will be picked up and dropped off at the following temporary stops: “Stade Nautique” and “Princesse Antoinette” (Gare).
MONABIKE SHARING SERVICE
The “Darse Nord” MonaBike electric bicycle station will remain in service.
