8th World Circus Day

To mark the 8^th World Circus Day, on 15 April, the organisers of the Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival have unveiled the poster for the 42^nd Festival, which will take place from 18 to 28 January 2018.  The poster was designed by Alain André, aka Petit Gougou;  it pays homage to the circus and celebrates its 250^th anniversary.

This day, which was founded in 2010 by the World Circus Federation, under the Honorary Presidency of H.S.H. Princess Stephanie, is held on the 3^rd Saturday of April, and pays tribute to the circus arts.  Several hundred events in more than 50 countries are featured on the programme.
