The Monaco Cyber Security Agency (AMSN) was represented at the annual European conference of the DFRWS (Digital Forensics Research Workshop) by Pierre Morlon, Head of Mission.  The conference was held in Oslo from 24 to 26 April at Kripos (National Criminal Investigation Service - Norway).

The DFRWS is a not-for-profit association that works to bring together all those with a legitimate interest in digital investigation in order to address new challenges in this field.  The DFRWS holds digital conferences on the subject of forensics, its challenges and international collaboration to guide research and development.

This event consisted of more than 24 hours of in-depth technical sessions, covering the latest digital research into forensics and cyber security, demonstrations of new technical tools and practical workshops.

At this event, the DRFWS organises a digital investigation challenge based on a fictional scenario.  Pierre Morlon and his team finished second out of 17 participants, confirming the high level of the AMSN's staff.
