On 19 June 2020, H.E. Ms. Isabelle Berro-Amadeï, accompanied by her husband, Bernard Amadeï, presented her Letters of Credence to His Royal Highness the Grand Duke of Luxembourg, accrediting her as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Him.
The official ceremony took place at the Grand Ducal Palace and was followed by a private meeting, during which His Royal Highness the Grand Duke emphasised the excellent relations between the Grand Duchy and the Principality of Monaco. Various subjects were discussed in the course of the conversation, including the consequences of the health crisis for both countries, Monaco's negotiations with the European Union, environmental protection and the national measures implemented to help combat climate change. The Ambassador thanked His Royal Highness the Grand Duke and His Government for the assistance provided to the Principality with regard to the delivery of orders for masks during the lockdown. She also mentioned the project that should make it possible to safeguard the Principality's sensitive data against the risk of cyber attacks and natural disasters in a data centre located in Luxembourg.
Ambassador Berro-Amadeï assured His Royal Highness of her commitment to continue with and deepen the links that have united the two countries for many years.
