Inauguration of the New Premises of the Department of Employment
On Wednesday 14 October, the new premises of the Department of Employment were inaugurated by H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince in the presence of H.E. Mr. Pierre Dartout, Minister of State, Ministers Ms. Marie-Pierre Gramaglia and Mr. Didier Gamerdinger, Mr. Stéphane Valeri, President of the National Council and Ms. Pascale Pallanca, Director of Employment.
Thanks to the addition of a floor and the refurbishment of the villa at 17 Rue Florestine, the Department of Employment, the Employment Office and the Labour Inspectorate are now all housed on a single site of approximately 1,250 m².
The division of the Department of Employment's services, which were accommodated on two neighbouring but separate sites, and the cramped nature of some of the premises, in view of the number of staff and the increasing number of activities over the years, led the Government to provide this Department with new premises.
