Winners of the 53rd International Bouquet Competition

The 53^rd International Bouquet Competition, organised by the Garden Club of Monaco, chaired by H.R.H. the Princess of Hanover, brought together some fifty participants (amateur and professional), who competed to show the most imagination in designing floral compositions on the theme of “Colour in Fashion”.

The “special” jury, chaired by H.R.H. the Princess of Hanover and comprising leading figures from the literary and art worlds, awarded the Special Prizes, and the “official” jury, comprising international authors, judges, teachers and experts in floristry awarded the Gold, Silver and Bronze Insignia, the General Grand Prize and the Princess Grace of Monaco Prize on Saturday 15 October.

PRIZE FOR ELEGANT ARRANGEMENT presented by the President of the National Council, Brigitte Boccone-Pagès, represented by Ms Corinne Bertanni, member of the National Council and of the Committee on Culture and Heritage.

PRIZE FOR CHARM presented by the Mayor of Monaco, Georges Marsan, represented by Ms Karyn Ardisson Salopek, Deputy Mayor for Culture.

PRIZE FOR BEST FLORAL DECORATION, presented by Ms Rosnella Cajello, President of the Instituto Italiano per la Decorazione Floreale per Amatori de Sanremo.

Awarded to Laurie Indelicato (France), in the “A dinner with Christian Lacroix (Les Arlésiennes) – table decoration” category.

PRIZE FOR COLOUR HARMONY presented by the President of the Friends of the Princess Grace Rose Garden association, Mr Yves Piaget, represented by Mr Georges Restellini.

Awarded to Carolina Martinez Raguseo (Spain), in the “Chanel bag” category.

PRIZE FOR ORIGINALITY IN THE SELECTION OF MATERIALS, presented by FLORANGA Sanremo, represented by Mr Enrico Barla.

Awarded to Nathalie Roussel (Parfums et Couleurs – France), in the “Haute couture of Jean-Paul Gaultier” category.

PRIZE FOR HUMOUR, presented by the Garden Club of Monaco, awarded by H.R.H. the Princess of Hanover.

Awarded to Roberta Piettrangelo (IIDFA EDFA – Rome, Italy), in the “Christian Louboutin shoes” category.

PRINCESS GRACE OF MONACO PRIZE – Overall Grand Prize – Presented by the Garden Club of Monaco, awarded by H.R.H. the Princess of Hanover.

Awarded to Maryse Gras (MG Fleurs et Création – Revel, France), in the “Haute couture of Jean-Paul Gaultier” category.

The event is open to the public from 5.30 pm to 8 pm on Saturday 15 October and from 10 am to 6.30 pm on Sunday 16 October.
