The main aim of the Reading Marathon, which is organised in conjunction with the award of the Literary Prize and the Discovery Grant, is to involve members of the public who use media libraries in Monaco and the surrounding region in the Foundation’s literary activities.

As part of this event, the Prince Pierre Foundation invites readers to attend a Literary Tea at 5 pm on Wednesday 19 September at the Louis Notari Library, a great opportunity to share views on the works and authors selected by the jury.

Another highlight will be a meeting with the authors shortlisted for the Discovery Grant at 3 pm on Wednesday 3 October in the Louis Notari Library.

The authors in contention for the Literary Prize, which honours a renowned writer in the French language for their entire body of work, are:

René DE CECCATTY - Annie ERNAUX - Linda LÊ - Tobie NATHAN - Maurizio SERRA
