Launch of MonGuichet.mc, the New One-Stop Portal for Online Procedures of the Prince's Government and Monaco City Hall

Plateforme Mon Guichet

"Users are central to our concerns and the development of our public policies. They must also be central to the transformation of our Administration. By refocusing even more on the service to our users and by aiming for excellence, our administration will make a major contribution to our attractiveness," emphasised the Minister of State on 25 October 2021, during a presentation on Extended Monaco, Assessment and Prospects.

With the opening of MonGuichet.mc, the Principality, under the impetus of the Extended Monaco programme, is now offering a new portal, which centralises all the online procedures of the Prince's Government and Monaco City Hall on a single website, i.e. a catalogue of more than 70 online services that are accessible 24/7 from a single website via a computer, smartphone or tablet.  The portal is available in both French and English.

"We must make the most of our infrastructures so as to offer Monegasques, residents and our businesses an attractive Principality that is a pioneer in the post-COVID world," explained Frédéric Genta, Country Chief Digital Officer.

A portal that's compatible with digital identity

Digital identity, which was introduced in June 2021, is an integral part of the MonGuichet.mc portal.  Thanks to the MConnect service, Monegasques and residents with an activated digital identity on their new ID card or residence permit can connect securely to their individual account.  This feature will be extended to businesses next year.

With just one account, it will be possible, for example, to apply for a civil status document, renew a residence permit, apply for a residence certificate, enrol children in a school or make an appointment for a technical inspection of a vehicle.

"With the launch of this first version of the MonGuichet.mc portal, we are entering a new era in the relationship between users and their Administration. We are making the daily lives of Monegasques and residents easier by giving them access to a centralised catalogue of online public service procedures. This development will strengthen the relationship between the Administration and private individuals and companies, and thus position Monaco as having the highest standards in terms of Public Service," emphasised Julien Dejanovic, Director of Digital Services.

An adaptable platform

By the end of 2022, the majority of everyday procedures will be available on the MonGuichet.mc portal. It will also be possible to view your forthcoming appointments, as well as all your digital documents provided by the Administration.

Finally, users with a Monegasque digital identity will benefit from a 360-degree experience based on the "tell us once" principle –they will no longer have to prove their identity when undertaking an online process, and will only have to communicate a change in circumstances once, such as moving house, for example.

Please note that the website ServicePublic.mc is still available to users and provides all the public service information.
