Additional support this summer for Taxis de Monaco

From now and throughout the summer, 28 additional taxis will operate for the Monaco taxi association to meet the extra demand seen during the summer season and major upcoming events in the Principality. Additional drivers, selected after a call for tenders published in the Journal de Monaco in October 2024, have a licence to operate for six months.
The fully electric fleet is compatible with greenhouse gas reduction requirements. Like last year, the easy-to-identify white vehicles offer rides within the city walls (€18 excluding wait times and traffic) and to nearby towns (€25 excluding wait times and traffic). When the ride management system detects a surge in demand, the fleet can also offer rides to destinations between Menton and Nice Ville.
During major events in Monaco, the fleet can offer rides to the airport, to Nice train station and the city of Nice, all day, and between 5 and 9 am any other day of the summer season.

The fleet will be rolled out in three phases:
- Eight seasonal taxis from 1 April to 30 September
- Ten additional taxis from 15 April to 15 October
- A further ten taxis from 1 May to 1 November
As such, the entire fleet will operate during the busiest period, between 1 May and 30 September.
To ensure optimal service, 11 eco-taxis will operate at night (9 pm to 5am) and at least seven will be available around the clock, seven days a week, by calling +377 93 15 01 01.
