e-Estonia on agenda at conference organised by Monaco Economic Board
A conference on e-Estonia, which is setting the example in e-government and e-services, was held today at MonacoTech, attended by the Minister of Finance and Economy, the Minister of the Interior, the Minister of Health and Social Affairs, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, representatives from the Government and member companies of the Monaco Economic Board (MEB).
At the invitation of the MEB, Indrek Vimberg, representing the Estonian Association of Information Technology and Telecommunications, and Rein Lang, former minister and consultant for Nortal, the company behind the design of most of Estonia’s e-services and information systems, gave presentations on the digital transformation of the Estonian Government and how this might be applied to other countries. They also talked about the history and reality of digital services in Estonia, and the situation today.
