  • Public access from 5.30 p.m.

(1) For persons wishing to join the procession that will leave from the Quai Louis-II, three checkpoints (with visual checks of bags and containers) will be set up:

-          by the tobacco shop bend - Route de la Piscine

-          on the Quai Louis-II, between the Nautical Society and the Yacht Club

-          on the Boulevard Louis II, by No. 1, the "Quai Kennedy" building

The attention of SNCF passengers is drawn to the closure of the Vallon Sainte Dévote to pedestrian traffic from 5.30 p.m.  To travel to or leave the station at Sainte Dévote, you should take the Galerie Sainte-Dévote.

For information, the Sainte Dévote steps will be closed from 5.30 p.m.

  • Practical traffic arrangements

-          from 5 p.m. to 7.15 p.m., the Route de la Piscine will be closed to traffic, except for the section between "La Rascasse" and the central jetty

-          At around 6.45 p.m. – 6.55 p.m., while the procession travels past the lower section of the Avenue d' Ostende, traffic will be temporarily halted on the Avenue to allow the participants to pass by safely

As concerns urban transport (Routes 1-2 and 6) and interurban transport (Routes 100 and 110), there will be slight delays while the procession passes by;  this is scheduled for between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Due to the closure of the Avenue du Président J. F. With regard to public car parks, information will be provided to users (with posters affixed to car park access points) by the relevant service.

The Administration kindly requests road users to make arrangements to avoid the area between the Sainte Dévote church and the Avenue du Président J. F. Kennedy (by the "Pattaya"), especially during the period of 6 p.m. – 7 p.m., and apologises in advance for any inconvenience caused by these festivities.
