Monaco Inter Expo Travels to Kazakhstan

Monaco Inter Expo has made another visit to Astana, in the Republic of Kazakhstan, in connection with Monaco's participation in the forthcoming Astana 2017 International Expo. 

The team was able to assess the progress of construction work and see the site of Monaco's Pavilion.  Many meetings were held with the various Expo Departments, and the procedure establishing the Pavilion as a legal entity is now under way. 

The MIE team members were accompanied by Mr. Stefano Poggi, Sales Director of SONEMA, which has been a partner of Monaco's Pavilion since Milan 2015.  This joint trip marks a new phase of support from the Pavilion's partners.  This was an opportunity for SONEMA to meet representatives of the Kazakh Ministry of Communication, as well as private partners who will be helpful for developing their activities in this emerging market. 

The Honorary Consul of Monaco, Mr. Kairat Ourazbekov, welcomed the team to Almaty, where various meetings were organised, including with banks and the main agribusiness importer, GreenHouse, with a view to facilitating contact with other partners of the Pavilion.
