On 26 April 2024, Monaco’s Embassy in Germany held its traditional consular meeting, attended by Ms. Isabelle Berro-Amadeï, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, and the Principality’s Honorary Consuls in Germany and Austria.

Traditionally held in Berlin, the meeting was relocated to Hamburg for the first time and held at the premises of Jung von Matt, the company owned by Mr Holger Jung, Honorary Consul of Monaco in Hamburg.

These meetings are an opportunity for congenial and instructive discussions on conditions in the Principality, its bilateral relations with Germany, Austria and Poland (the Embassy in Berlin is accredited to these three countries) and provide insight for the Embassy in the development of its activities for the upcoming year.

During the meeting, the Consuls were also able to present and promote their activities. Mr Günther Fleig, Honorary Consul of Monaco in Stuttgart, for example, spoke about the scientific cruise in Antarctica in which he took part in late 2023, organised by the Oceanographic Museum. The company JvM CREATORS gave a presentation on the subject of artificial intelligence.
